Discover Gallura

Bagaglino I Giardini Di Porto Cervo is located in one of the most charming places in the world: the Emerald Coast, in Gallura in northeastern Sardinia – the second largest island in the Mediterranean.

This area has always been known for its crystal clear water, its fine, very white sandy beaches, its little islets of the Maddalena Archipelago, its wild nightlife and its prestigious luxury services.

Rich with rocks polished by the wind, rain and sea, Gallura offers the visitor an enchanting area rich with natural sculptures and bizarre shapes. The natural vegetation on the coast is formed of Mediterranean scrub (lentisk, rockrose, strawberry tree and myrtle). Meanwhile, the landscape inland is different as it is further away from the wind and it is characterised by impressive granite outcrops and oak and cork forests, the managing of which is one of the island’s main productive activities.

Until 1962, the Gallura coast was sparsely populated, whereas today it has become one of the most prestigious tourist destinations. The tourist area, which is within the Arzachena municipality, extends across a coastal expanse of around 90 km. The coast is characterised by the presence of numerous inlets, small beaches and a great many islands including the Maddalena Archipelago that offers enchanting views and crystal clear water.

The most beautiful beaches in North Sardinia are: Pevero, Celvia, Liscia Ruia, Cala di Volpe,Capriccioli, Romazzino, Costa Serena, Isuledda, Isola dei Gabbiano, Capo Testa, La Marmorata, Valle della Luna.

The heart of the Emerald Coast is Porto Cervo where you can also find high-level services and many commercial and residential neighbourhoods.

In addition, a series of fascinating and elegant villages are dotted along this coast, places such as Baja Sardinia, Poltu Quatu, Palau, Santa Teresa di Gallura and Porto Rotondo. You can reach all these destinations in half an hour by car from Bagaglino I Giardini di Porto Cervo. Or else try to visit San Pantaleo one Thursday morning. There you will find a market where many local businesses and farmers gather to sell their wares.

The Emerald Coast offers an extraordinary variety of attractions and activities: shopping, golf, diving, sailing, rowing, bars and nightclubs, parties, and much more. It is the ideal place for people of all ages: you can let yourself be guided by the wind as you wind surf or kite surf at Porto Pollo or Isola dei Gabbiani, or else experience the emotion of fishing from some rocks or accompanied by expert fishers.
